Mauricio Montecinos
Mauricio started to play guitar and sing at the age of seven. He plays Classical, Flamenco, Classic Rock and many other styles. After graduating with a BA(H) in Special Education and a Diploma in Classical Guitar from his native Chile, Mauricio moved to Canada and began teaching in Northern Ontario before coming to Kingston. A prolific performer and recording artist, Mauricio has been broadcast on CBC & CBS and has participated in numerous festivals and concerts around the world. Performing solo or with a band, he showcases original songs, guitar compositions and Latin covers with global music influences.
