David Cliff

David Cliff is a singer-songwriter, musician, performer and promoter of live music events.   Growing up in suburbs of Toronto, where David and his circle of “musical friends” of The Pursuit of Happiness, Moxy Fruvous, & Broken Social Scene (cousin) were the beginnings of his musical creative career playing guitar(s), bass, harmonicas, singing, harmonies, performances and song writing.   After moving to Kingston in 1998 David started to work with various local singer songwriters eventually forming a local band and still now continues to perform, write and record with various local musicians.   David’s songwriting “style” moves between folk, rock to ballad’s to contemporary pop telling simple stories blending poetics and musical arrangements that are sometimes political, pop songs, jazzy or easy listening.
