Latin Dance Night
Join us for a fun evening of Latin Dance starting with a free one hour dance lesson with Stephen & Maria from 7-8 p.m. followed by dancing to live Latin music with Mauricio Montecinos from 8-10 p.m.
Stephen & María are fresh out of the Toronto Latin Dance scene! They are known for their high energy, fun classes for beginners which they’ve been teaching weekly this past year with “Salsa On One Kingston”. They are now super excited to move their classes to The Social YGK – where live music by Mauricio Montecinos will follow their mixed Salsa/Bachata 1 hour class. You don’t want to miss this event!!

Mauricio Montecinos
Mauricio started to play guitar and sing at the age of seven. He plays Classical, Flamenco, Classic Rock and many other styles. After graduating with a BA(H) in Special Education and a Diploma in Classical Guitar from his native Chile, Mauricio moved to Canada and began teaching in Northern Ontario before coming to Kingston. A prolific performer and recording artist, Mauricio has been broadcast on CBC & CBS and has participated in numerous festivals and concerts around the world. Performing solo or with a band, he showcases original songs, guitar compositions and Latin covers with global music influences.
